Appraisal Platform Vendor Selection:
Helping an Auto Insurer select a new Appraisal Platform.

 
Overview
  • The Auto Insurer had an Appraisal Platform made up of disparate systems.
  • In an effort to reduce costs and streamline workflow, the decision was made to potentially change the Appraisal Platform.
  • The challenge was analyzing the vendor proposals and helping the insurer determine the appropriate course of action, comparing status quo to a single-vendor solution.
 
Our Approach
  • Developed the RFP and managed the solicitation and selection process
    We employed a methodical process built around analyzing risk and costs as well as assessing hard and soft criteria to score vendor responses.
  • We acted as mediators during the entire process, following up with vendors for clarifications and ultimately providing a final analysis to the insurer on our findings. Based on our findings, the insurer made a selection.
 
Outcome
  • During the entire process, remained focused on the needs of the insurer. Doing so enabled the insurer to concentrate not on the process itself but rather on the overall business objectives.
  • Ultimately, able to help the insurer negotiate a value-based agreement achieving its goals, saving operational expenses while also increasing operational efficiency.
